GREENYOU(th) empowers young people to become eco-citizens and lead the green transition in their communities by promoting sustainable, eco-friendly cities.
Led by NGOs from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Spain, Lithuania, and Romania, the project gathers expert insights to identify gaps in environmental policies and improve local action. Through cross-country collaboration and research, GREENYOU(th) aims to foster better governance and inspire impactful, youth-driven change across Europe.
GREENYOU(th) equips young people with the knowledge, values, and practical skills needed to live sustainably and take climate-conscious action. By fostering an eco-friendly mindset, the project prepares youth to actively contribute to greener communities and make informed lifestyle choices.
The project encourages young people to become active eco-citizens—engaging with their communities, influencing local policies, and promoting environmental awareness. By co-creating solutions with peers and municipalities, youth drive real change in the places they live.
Through collaboration between youth, NGOs, and local authorities, GREENYOU(th) supports the development of eco-friendly urban environments. Participants contribute to shaping a shared roadmap toward environmental sustainability, helping cities transition into greener, healthier spaces for all.
